Stomp the yard choreography assignment
- Students will choreograph 4 x 8 counts of a stomp routine
- Students will use different beats to create a musical rhythm
- Students may exclusively use body movements to create their beat or they may add props to create a different sound
- Students must include different formations, transitions (movement), and include a beginning and ending pose
- Students must write down their choreographies
- The routine must include: Stomps, Hits, Claps
- The routine may include: Taps, Shuffles, Brushes, Snaps, etc
- Example of props include: Brooms, Balls, Sticks, Pots/Pans, etc
